F. Russell Wilson practiced U.S. immigration law exclusively at the Word Trade Center in downtown San Diego from 1999 through 2005, when a client, a technology company facing acquisition, hired him to assist with the deal.  In 2011 Mr. Wilson re-established a full-time immigration practice in the Bay Area of northern California.

In 2015, Mr. Wilson opened a second office in Roseville, California, near Sacramento, to better serve Sacramento-area and Lake Tahoe clients.

In 2021, Mr. Wilson relocated his law practice from California to Providence, Rhode Island, where it serves southern New England, Cape Cod and the Islands.  The law practice now represents clients throughout northern California and New England.

Mr. Wilson’s path toward U.S. immigration began at birth in the United Kingdom, and as the son of a U.S. military officer, is woven thru America’s heartland.  A strong pro-immigrant outlook is shaped by undergraduate studies in International Relations at the University of California, Davis, and foreign travel in Asia during law school years, in particular Singapore.  Mr. Wilson is a 1996 graduate of California Western School in San Diego, where he was the recipient of an American Jurisprudence Award for appellate advocacy, and is a past member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
